It is beyond my comprehension that anyone could be surprised that the cities and towns are in the financial straights that they are in. When is the last time ANY CITY, TOWN OR VILLAGE, spent below their budget? When is the last time ANY CITY,TOWN OR VILLAGE did not cry out for and spend EVERY CENT OF STATE AID?
The whole subject of State and Federal aid to the states is one fraught with skullduggery and fraud. Whose money is being spent and being spent by whom?
There is no oversight and they (the politicians) have used it to their great advantage.
The mayors should unite. They should unite in a mass exodus.
United they stand and united we (the people) fall.

That's all we ever hear....
Dump the unions....
Why should the legislature fear the taxpayers when the taxpayers keep voting these same incompetents into office?

Mr. Gezer how many residents are criminals living near you schools how many are legal us citizens and how many lied about there income on your public housing and how many people are using your school system.
