The Newburyport Daily News endorsed Obama as well and the GD Times, always the North Shore newspaper curmudgeon, endorsed nobody. You gotta love Fishtown!

Seems like the Evil Tribune was the only paper in the network dumb enough to endorse a loser. But hey, with right wing political and religious fanatics like Ken Johnson and Taylor Armerding at the helm of editorial policy, what can you expect?

The Salem Evening News endorsed Obama, I am with you Jim, that is amazing, I was out of town so I missed it, WOW.

What was it I wonder that pushed them that way, I guess I will need to find the article.

Mr. Amerding: Needless to say, I was disheartened and now I am distrustful because of the Salem News decision to endorse Obama for President, I had no inkling that such a thing could happen given their ediTorial comments over the last 18 months. But it did, and so the only thing I have left is tp cancel my subscription to the News when the current one expires.i woulfd like to know when the New York Times/Boston Globe acquired the News though.
Regarding this piece, you are right, providing you mean it.
